What has your Steeped Tea Business given you?
What hasn’t my Steeped Tea business given me? My Steeped Tea Business has given me a sense of confidence and pride. I am able to support my children while spending more time with them. I am able to see new possibilities that I wouldn’t have had before and for the first time in my life, I am setting goals years in advance instead of just getting through the days while I wait to see what comes tomorrow. My Steeped Tea business has given me a future.
What has contributed most to your overall success with Steeped Tea?
I have a framed quote where I can see it whenever I work. It says, “Never give up on a dream because of the time it takes to achieve, the time will pass anyway.” Whenever I am feeling discouraged, I look up at the quote to remind me that success doesn’t happen over night and it gives me a new sense of perseverance. Above all, staying positive while sharing my passion and maintaining my perseverance has played a huge roll in my success. No one starts off successful but if we are willing to move forward, share the opportunity with others, and do it with joy your Steeped Tea journey is bound to take you to new and amazing places.
What is one tip you would give to new Consultants as they get started on their journey?
When you do your launch party, focus on bookings. While sales are fabulous, you also want to get as many bookings as possible in order to break out of your friends and family. Share your passion with everyone, you don’t have to salesy about it. Simply sharing a cup of tea or posting a photo of a product you love and talking about it is sharing your passion. If you don’t talk about it, how will people know about it?
What is one tip you would you give to a new Leader?
As a Leader, your continued success will rely on building your team and your team’s foundation. Continue to grow and train your new team members while leading them to their own success. Your team will follow your example; you set the pace and the expectations of the team. If you are recruiting and actively booking, while teaching your team how you are able to recruit and book, they will follow suit.
What are your goals for this year?
My goal for the next year is to continue to recruit and build onto the foundation of my business and promote to an Executive Director. If I can dream it, I can do it!
What’s your best parTEA tip?
Work with your Hostess before the party so she feels confident and has direction. I always send out a Hostess Package before my Parties (all of my parties are online) that includes samples, business cards, order forms, and catalogs. I walk my Hostess through how to use the Hostess Package to get outside orders. I have them share a photo of the tea she is drinking before the Party to excite and engage people. When you work with your Hostess, your Hostess will work with you.
