In Celebration of World Book Day, we asked our communiTEA all about books – what they’re currently reading, what their favorite books are and which teas to sip while they cozy on up to a good read! These are a few of our favorite book recommendations and the teas to sip! Which would you add to the list? Share with us on our Facebook Page!

“Favorite book is The Four Agreements. Would love to curl up and read it with a cup of Lemon Ginger Tea-tox” – Sarah

“I love the classics. It is hard to choose a favorite. I frequently reread books by Emily Bronte, Dickens, and especially Jane Austen, I can never get enough Jane Austen! However, I have had a special place in my heart for Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I read it when I was around 8 or 9. My mom often said I reminded her of Jo, and because of that I search for new facets of her personality every time I read the book. When the movie came out I remember going to see it with my mother and sister. It holds very dear memories for me, and the story itself is timeless. I particularly like English Breakfast with this book, unless I’m needing to unwind, in which case I go to my “go-to tea” for that, Sleepy Chai! To me, books and tea are intertwined beyond separation; the addition of one increases the enjoyment of the other.” – Julie

“The Lord Of The Rings series with a BIG cup of Toffee Crunch!” – Amanda

“My current (re)read is the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, historical fantasy (with a bit of romance) about an English woman who travels from 1943 back to 1745 Scotland during the Jacobite uprising. It’s an intricately woven and rich story spanning decades, which goes nicely with Earl Grey de la Creme… little bit of classic, little bit of exotic, whole lot of flavor.” – Alli

“The Time Traveler’s Wife and I would recommend anyone of the Fruit Teas” – Dana

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn has been my favorite book since 3rd grade. My old beat up copy is still at my mom’s…it’s almost falling apart from how many times I read it. I would curl up with it and a classic tea like Earl Grey de la Creme.” – Sara

“I’ve been reading Amy Poehler’s Yes Please! It’s a complete insight into her life of improv & comedy! I love it!! I’ve been sipping on Pina Colada, rooibos one of my favorite teas to relax with!” – Barb

“My ALL TIME favorite book is Fahrenheit 451! Ray Bradbury is amazing, and I really think it has a great perspective of an alternate world (Don’t worry, no spoilers!) I like to sip Cinnamon Hearts Pu’erh with it to add a little “fire” to the story” – Jessica

Now, who wants to start a books and tea club? 😉
